With an illustrious career spanning over 19 years, Ramneet has firmly established herself as a true pioneer in the field of physiotherapy.

Ramneet embarked on her journey by completing her Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy in 2003 from GNDU India, laying a solid foundation for her remarkable career. Driven by her commitment to holistic care, Ramneet pursued a Master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Wollongong, propelling her passion forward and equipping her with an expanded knowledge base. This furthered her ability to deliver comprehensive treatments to her patients, ensuring their well-being is addressed from a multifaceted perspective.

Throughout her professional journey, Ramneet has garnered extensive experience across a diverse range of clinical settings, including nursing homes, communities, and both rural and metropolitan regions. Ramneet has over 19 years experience in physiotherapy. Ramneet did her Bachelors in Physiotherapy in 2003 from GNDU India. She has a Master’s in Public Health from University of Wollongong. Ramneet worked in clinical settings, nursing home, community both in rural and metropolitan regions. Ramneet has expertise in working with musculoskeletal conditions.

She has a special interest in neck, shoulder, headaches, TMJ (jaw) issues, back pain, knee and hip pain, chronic pain, geriatric joint and muscle pain management. She is also passionate about rehabilitating patients post orthopaedics surgeries including post fractures and joint replacements. Ramneet has a strong understanding of women’s health and treats pre-natal post-natal conditions and pelvic girdle pain. Ramneet loves being a physiotherapist – being part of patient’s journey to recovery and help them achieve their life goals and pain free. Ramneet’s treatment approach includes hands on, in combination with exercise-based rehabilitation. She believes empowering and educating her patients is the key to improve core stability, posture, balance, control, strength and flexibility for overall optimum function and wellbeing. Outside of work, Ramneet loves spending time with her family; has 2 beautiful sons 5 yrs old and 2 yrs old. She enjoys bush walking, exercising, meditating, loves cooking, music and dancing.

No. In Australia, Physiotherapists are Primary Care Clinicians qualified and skilled in the management of musculoskeletal injury, dysfunction or derangement. You do not need a referral to see a Physiotherapist. However, we need information about your GP  so that we can update and informed about your condition and progress. Your doctor will also help identify any crucial information that can assist the Physiotherapist plan your treatment co.

If your problem is related to WorkCover, DVA, EPC or TAC, you will require a GP referral and appropriate proof of liability.

Physiotherapy consultations are covered under private health care insurance and in some instances it is partially covered by Medicare when referred by your G.P.

Most consults at I Motion Physiotherapy are 40 minutes for an Initial Assessment and 30 mins for Treatment Consult. However, if you have multiple injuries to be assessed or have a complicated history, then a longer extended 50 -60 mins consult may be required.

As part of our assessment and treatment, we often need to see the body area in question. We recommend shorts or loose fit  for lower limb and pelvic injuries, and singlets for shoulder and neck problems.

Also, don’t forget to  bring any referrals, reports, imaging or anything else that you think might assist  your therapist.
